Heeley Development Trust is an independent organisation that was set up in 1996 by local people to manage regeneration projects in Heeley, Sheffield. This involves acting as a management and development agency for new projects, coordinating social and economic regeneration and improving the environment through greenspace development and maintenance.

The Trust organises Festivals and events throughout the year and has refurbished a number of local buildings that are now available for hire.

The Trust is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Heeley Millenium Park, which is a community owned park incorporating an events area, play and recreation space and a purpose built climbing rock.

The Heeley Millennium Park is the key project of the Heeley Development Trust and the springboard for its growing number of community based initiatives: creating new jobs, training places and volunteering opportunities for local people and undertaking a wide range of environmental improvements, all aimed at improving the quality of life in the Heeley District, Sheffield.
